Don't have them in, I am running an ARH 1 7/8 long tube, high flow cats, and 3" cross pipe, left the stock cans in, now I got the coing to move those on out.

I have the Super 40's on my L99 with the resignators removed, X Pipe and Vararam. I love the sound. If you want to meet up and hear them, let me know. I bet they would sound great with the LTs!

FlowMaster only has a catback system for the SS, the LT has the axle back ... They are both called the American Thunder series ...

I have both sets, catback on my SS and axle back on my wife's LT ... Both sound great, and you can definitely hear both cars coming and going ...

Easy solution:

Either cut the stock mufflers off and install 2 FM Super 44 mufflers, OR, do that as well as remove the resonators replacing that section with straight pipe. Any muffler shop can do this fairly cheap. That's what I did. Sample clips in the sig. Yours would be much louder than mine though with high flow cats and LT headers.

BTW, the FM AMT system basically uses a slightly "modified" Super 44 muffler according to the guys at FM. The excerpt from another thread is below:

Heard back from Flowmaster today, that was actually quick.

Hi Jimmy,
Thank you for choosing Flowmaster. The only thing that we make specific for your car are the cat-back systems. All of our mufflers are universal and will require some fabrication to install on the vehicle. If you want to use an Original 40 series muffler, part # 42543 should be the closest to the stock setup. In the kits that we have for your car we use a modified Super 44 style muffler. The Super 44 will have less interior noise than the Original 40. Please let me know if you have anymore questions. Thank you.
Thank you for contacting Flowmaster.

I thought resonators where only on the L99? Mines an LS3 car, and I have the ARH system which goes back to the axle with the cross pipe, and I didn't see any resonators in the H-pipe that came out, so I'll probably jsut end up cutting out the mufflers and sticking in 40's.

p.s. your car sounds awesome!

On the LS3s the resonators are between the "H" section and the rear axle. If you had all that taken out and replaced, then all you need to do is put FMs and tips on for some small $. Good deal and thanks for the compliment.

BTW: Pic of the resonators on the LS3:

Great. Then all you need is the Super 44 mufflers or 40s series and stainless tips. It will be a lot cheaper than any other axle-back option out there too.
