Painted calipers.

I posted this question in anther category, but no reply. Lets try again where there are more members:

This winter...err, this customizing season, I am planning on painting my Brembo calipers (Red). I was wondering if painting the calipers will require more maintenance. In other words, once they are painted, are they going to show dirt and brake dust that requires frequent cleaning?

My Camaro is never driven in the snow, or rain for that matter. After every ride, before I put on the car cover, I do a quick wipe and clean with a Kozak, clean the windshield, and wipe off the chrome wheels. I am not sure if I want to add cleaning the calipers to that list.

Hello again Alfie. I feel the same way and clean my polished wheels every 2nd or 3rd drive just to keep the brake dust off of them. I would love to have red calipers to match my white/IO rally striped Camaro but don't know how i would keep them clean even though my Camaro is only used for occasional fun trips.
PS: I know there are posts about painting calipers- Do a "search".

I have my calipers painted IOM and they require the same amount of cleaning as my wheels do. Yes, they show brake dust easily, but if you stay on top of them this comes off very easily. Here is a pic of my car with calipers painted:
