What do you guys think, would you touch a Z28 !

Bhobbs 03-27-2013 01:48 PM

Cam and exhaust is about all you need. It's good the brakes, aero, seats and wheels and tires.

Kelly@PCMofNC 03-27-2013 01:50 PM

Obviously. I can't leave ANYTHING alone.

DuskSS 03-27-2013 01:52 PM

It's a stripped race car of course I would if I'm gonna give up my comforts the car is going to be a monster.

I won't buy one though I'd sooner buy a stripped chassis and make the same thing for cheaper

Of course. You know what they say about idle hands

LOWDOWN 03-27-2013 01:57 PM

Joseph, since you're asking:

1) Proper/efficient front brake ducting
2) ..."........."....... hood/heat venting
3) "Leno" rear 1/4 brake ducts/ducting

We got you covered in this rendering, all you need to do is add our rear quarter ports...

potwasher 03-27-2013 02:27 PM

zkdreads 03-27-2013 02:30 PM

That and the wider hood extractor. This combo looks much better.

MADBOWTIE 03-27-2013 02:48 PM

It would be a sin not to!!

Dave Coyle 03-27-2013 02:50 PM

As the saying goes....there is always room for more!!!!

Tribute 03-27-2013 02:54 PM

The potential out of the 427 is massive. GM kept it tame to not outdo the ZL1, but they know damn well this is a mod ready beast for the taking. Kudos GM, well done.

ron10 03-27-2013 02:57 PM

i'm thinking twin turbos.

2cnd chance 03-27-2013 03:21 PM

It needs a ZL1 hood and rear fascia...BAD!

Camper 03-27-2013 03:27 PM

id go NA with it and leave it as my daily driver. Leaving my boosted ls3 in the garage during the weak.

2SSRS@Gen5diy 03-27-2013 03:31 PM

I have a long list to add to the car, and last week i was thinking of buying a LS7, not now.

mrvenicess 03-27-2013 03:38 PM

I will be modding mine as soon as it comes in just like I did with my 2010 SS. Cam, headers, 575-600 hp?

grocerygetter 03-27-2013 03:40 PM

big cam, 2" long tubes and some kind of aftermarket something to make the Honda Prelude go away on the back end. LOL

+ Cam and if the brakes can't take it then Wilwood
Just like the Z06......

Yeh!

jklipan 03-27-2013 04:23 PM

I'd sure buy that facia for my 2010 SS. How much would that run me?

Hylton 03-27-2013 04:26 PM

Joe - when you make the front brake cooling ducts to replace the fog delete trim (Z28), please mold them so they can mounted as the what is there now.

Nailn it 03-28-2013 06:16 PM

Of Course!

Blower, cam, bada** Stereo. Done. But then all I would really have is my ZL1, which I'm sure is much more comfortable and quieter inside. Just not feeling it. Kinda relieved its not more desireable too me, cause I would have lost my a** again on trade in.

brt3 03-28-2013 06:19 PM

I'm wondering what Katech could do with the Z/28 as a starting point...

JAX CAMARO 03-28-2013 06:21 PM

:headbang: Why do you mod anything, HA, cause we can

ACS Composite 03-29-2013 08:20 PM

http://acscomposite.wordpress.com/20...ork-auto-show/

Jer4251 03-29-2013 09:33 PM

I would mod away as with any other car. it can always be returned to stock down the road if they start selling for crazy money

OldScoolCamaro 03-29-2013 09:41 PM

...no. It's a living dinosaur before it's even produced. And there won't be many to hatch either. If you can get one...that's if, run the daylights outta it and mod it, or hold onto it as is...'cause this is the KT boundry. Either live fast and die young<mentally>, or be a speculator and keep it stock<depending on ones age group>. I am not going to bother even to try to get in the que for it. The more I think about this car and see it, the more I am enamoured by it.

Richy_Rich 03-29-2013 10:05 PM

no, immediate collecter item.

I'd do things like headers, cats, udp, cai and tune; but I'd rather not tune if I could avoid it. No heads or cam.

360ss 04-04-2013 02:58 PM

Ur gonna need a tune with the headers^^
