About the only thing I run in the info area is speed. COuld care less if 3d or color it does what it needs to do. HUD would be cool, but dont want to tear my dash apart for something like that

I know the 1SS will have a monochromatic driver information center but does it have all the animation as the color one but just in black and white? I also know the 1SS does not offer HUD.

what i'd REALLY like to see is the same DIC that's in the Cruze. that thing has all kinds of awesomeness; like a speedo, MPG, and fuel remaining all on one screen. i was given a Cruze as a loaner while my Camaro was getting a leak fixed, and i was astounded at all the information that tiny screen gave me all at once.

I know that the ZL1 HUD has a performance style shift light on the HUD page that has the G-meter. It has two lights that move closer together as you approach redline.

The shift light is only on the automatic ZL1, and only when you're in "Manual" mode. It also displays what gear you're in.
