Love them... Next stop: G2 caliper paint: IOM

austinjames 02-15-2012 08:13 PM

Sweet. Prepare to wash them everyday tho

RANGERGOD 02-15-2012 08:15 PM

Looks awesome!

If you do the Calipers IOM, you should think about doing the indentions around the lug nuts with IOM vinyl strips.

ron10 02-15-2012 08:15 PM

looks good.

I was thinking to make the caps IOM. With a SS maybe? Anyone knows where to score some SS caps from that will fit stock SS rims?

SlowSS 02-15-2012 08:29 PM

That looks good! I think the caps are a great idea

:headbang: yep I know.. But when its clean.. It is by far.. The most classiest. Cleanest! Tasteful Camaro seen lol! (might be partial here!)- SW is a great color!-very classy.

When you paint your calipers I would replace the OEM pads with the ones I've listed below. They leave virtually zero dust. I put them on when I powder coated my calipers and it's one of the best things I did.

Massively sexy sir.....

One of the first things I did to my 95 when I picked up a set of SS wheels was to powdercoat them white.

Best thing I coulda ever done to that car. Made it really pop.

Love how these look on the 5th Gens too.

Pretty clean! I like it. I actually wanted to powder coat some aftermarket wheels but didn't get a chance to.

I was looking to powdercoat mine locally as well, and for a single color it was $100 per rim. Just call up a some local places and get pricing is your best bet.

I do have a little damage on my rims  lol but im sure i can find a place. I just really dont like any of the aftermarket wheels. And the OP wheels look oh so sexy . I was thinking doing a white wheel or leave them black and get white calipers? ummm decisions

I agree, most color matched rims look ghetto IMO, but white doesnt look like that at all. Very classy, sexy and clean.

HaubSS 02-16-2012 03:41 PM

Looks Great OP! My vote is white center caps with either IOM Bowtie or "SS". Do not like the idea of any other IOM on the wheels, will take away from the clean look IMO.

Berryp 02-16-2012 04:51 PM

I was thinking about doing mine in white as well. But i see i dont need to think anymore they are sexy..............

Shuffler 02-16-2012 04:53 PM

That looks pretty good.

I want to find a place by me that can do Black Powder Coating!! I like the white but black would defiantly go with IOM Camaro better.

GunnyG 02-16-2012 05:11 PM

Looks good! I can only imagine what you're gonna have to do to keep them clean. Nice job!

Combination? Black with white pin stripe or white with black pinstripe.

GEEo 02-16-2012 05:49 PM

282.17 for all four...

Deeboe 02-16-2012 06:05 PM

Thanks for all the compliments. I just order badges from emblem pros!!! I think too many mods to SW Camaros will take away from the subtle sexy look.. Calipers is a must!!!

You will not regret this. I love the white wheels on my '93 Pace Car. Replaced the white salad shooters for some white ZR1 wheels. Never regreted it, and the compliments are plenty!

flyinlow89 02-16-2012 06:26 PM

Love white wheels on white cars! Nicely done!

austinjames 02-16-2012 06:27 PM
