Nice seats, I'm trying to figure out which ones I want, looking to get Ostrich skin ones. Glad you got the Kilis 20", those were my 22" Kilis I sold to Pierre, once you go over 600+RWHP 22s are no good.

Like what you've done

IBM camaro 01-06-2013 03:30 PM

BLU DUCE 01-06-2013 04:58 PM

Well needless to say I'm partial to IBM. I have one of the early 2011,got mine in June 2010. With the care of mods and love you have put in this car is unbeliavble. I read your whole build & and looked at all pics. As far as money goes I feel your pain for empty pockets Been there done that and still doing it. Click on my sig. it will take you too the build. If you don't get up for COTW it shouldn't take long before you do.

IBM camaro 01-06-2013 07:20 PM

Those Kilis are a heavy wheel, especially the 22", I dropped close to 100lbs by going with the 20" Nurburgrings.

So can you tell me about the Katzin interior. Do you just remove the standard coverings and work the new one on? Did you do it or have a shop do it? I know there's plenty of interior shops here in LA, I see them everywhere, just wanted to know if you did the seats and the difficulty level. How come you didn't do the headrests?

I guess you haven't seen my build thread, everything gets posted up, 100s of pics LOL! Just click my sig. I think you'll be impressed.

EDIT: Excuse my ignorance, but what is LLT?

Baldman 01-06-2013 07:31 PM

Looks great. Put your Camaro in for COTW. One suggestion get better pictures taken not that the ones you've got here are that bad.;) Good luck.:happyanim:

IBM camaro 01-06-2013 07:37 PM

And here is the cemetary shoot. Well I take pictures in an area that is not part of the actualy cemetary but in the property its a nice place to just park and get pics away from others and alone. I guess when I was taking the pictures at a new angle my phone fell out. After about 2 hours of destroying my house trying to find it I had a realization. So at night in the cold I went to go look for it at the cematary. I swear I could have seen slender man out there. In a needle in the hay stack situation I found it laying face down in the field. Thank god!

IBM camaro 01-06-2013 07:43 PM

Hi Kronix the LLT is the engine that I have in my car and lol Ive seen your build many times I love the new wheels that you have I was just kinda lurking so I havent commented but I will. I let my dealership send the car off to get it worked on im sure they made the leather and then wrapped it all in all it was just over 1500 for the leather. Any other parts other than the seats were made custom by an uphostelry shop in Austin. I really wanted to do the head rests but ran out of money at the time.

Thxs for the great comments The understanding of the transformation of these beauties is the the misunderstanding of the people that own one. Far as better pics. have that guy send you a money order so you can hire professional picture taker to go with you when you spend his money order on more mods.

IBM camaro 01-06-2013 08:59 PM

Haha about the pic he was just trying to help me out. Ill take any comments at this point better than nothing lol. To me this is my art and my creative side coming out. It is what makes me happy , when I'm down I get in the car drive and let the world fade away

TCAT 01-06-2013 10:47 PM

Lupe will take great care of you. He will set everything right the first time, and you'll likely be very happy with his work and his prices. Have fun with those doors and vents!

Welcome to the HeadTurners, the only Camaro Club with World Domination!

Listen to Tim (Farthest), MPG covers are ok, but Brembos are better. Get ready to break out the air saw for cutting into you front quarter panel for the 3dCarbon Vents. I went with them, because they actually dispurse brake heat and not just for show. But you will have the jitters when you cut into that panel, just use the template 3d sends you, measure it off well, and test fit once you get the hole cut, and test again..DO NOT use the double sided tape provided. Use black windshield epoxy, it comes in tubes just like caulk. They WILL NOT come out once installed that way.

IBM camaro 01-08-2013 01:24 AM

Thanks man that's great advice and I know I'd love brembos but my money's gonna be tied up in the lambo doors and the vents I'm letting Lupe install them with my doors so I don't have to cut I was way to worried about my tracing skills to cut tht panel alone. I normally pay for big projects to be installed haha small stuff I install no problem.

IBM camaro 01-08-2013 01:25 AM

Also thanks everyone for the welcome its gonna be great being part of a group of such bad ass cars!! Can't wait to rep the decals. I just really need a good sig pic. Also anyone know where to find reds build thread

Kronix 01-08-2013 01:26 AM

Then don't waste your money on the MPG covers, and just save up. Do it right the first time and don't back track and spend double the money.

I think your right I just have to save hopefully I can do a set for 1000 or less. I wanted to have the covers just untill I upgrade later red or orange like mindz

IOM Black Diamond 01-08-2013 01:45 AM

Wow great looking build. I have really been thinking about some fender vents also. I really like how they look and how they get some of the heat out.
