At the dealer now for CEL. Cylinder misfire.
Check engine light went on yesterday. Seemed to be running ok. lady just told me it's a misfire in cylinder 8...it's a v6. This should be interesting.

Four guys looking under the hood now

Maybe they'll see that there's no way to fix the "problem" and you'll get a brand new v8
|
Sounds like you need a new dealer...

I think they're not running on all cylinders either.
And pick up a cheap reader so you now the code before you get there. I don't trust dealers to tell you the right code either. |
Tell her you need a new set of muffler bearrings.

Mine did this in the cold when starting. There is a service bulletin re-flash for this. Have them look it up.

Mine did the same thing this morning. I don't have a code reader and had to get to work so I had OnStar pull a diagnostic. Misfire. Drove my jeep to work, and am dropping the car off tomorrow night for service first thing Monday morning. I'm hoping its just the re-flash issue mentioned above. I will say though, the car has 39,200 miles on it, and this is my first issue. I'm a happy customer.
