Tempe Police Camaro Invades my Office
 

So we had a Police Toy Drive at my Office's parking lot this morning. Had about 500-600 police vehicles here.

Anyway, this rolled in and parked right up front:

That's an impressive police cruiser. I wonder how they select the officer that gets to drive it?

I understand that the car was seized from a dumb ass criminal and repurposed by the PD. They are all here for a Police Christmas Toy Drive going on in our Office's parking lot.

I was going to say that better be a seized vehicle - tax dollars cant go for gfx and fancy grilles!!!!

Have also seen this in person, it was seized from a large drug king pin in the area.

I believe it has never made a traffic stop before. It is a show car, not used on a patrol at all and not assigned to any officer.

It would be awesome to see this on patrol....

They should use the cop lights setup from Hawaii 5-0!

yeah,sure would be nice to be a cop and get to cruise around in this evey day,i like the design of the striping on the side that the PD put on it,hav'nt seen that type of design yet,figured it had to be a seized ride,

They do that here too. Makes it tough to play when the law is driving a black unmarked C6 Z06

We were told by the officer driving this car that it is indeed a patrol car and it has made many stops. He added that no one has ever attempted to run from him. He lights them up and they see this car behind them and immediately pull over - LOL !!!
