Exhaust Question

My Camaro SS will be in next week and I am debating which exhaust I would like to go with. I want more HP without too much interior noise. I was thinking about going with the Hennessey (American Racing Long Tube Headers +50 rear wheel hp!), which I found on http://www.hennesseyperformancestore.com/hpelotuhe.html Does anyone have this exhaust system or what are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

arh seem to be the ones everyone recommends. Kooks is a good brand as well, but for the new SS it seems that ARH is the way to go

You can find it a little cheaper than that but ARH is one of the best and the ones I chose. Hennessy is just a retailer of that system and hennessy marks everything way up. Shop around you can probably save 100 bucks. I got that system and borla mufflers for mine.

Also note the 50 HP gain is attainable with a tune, expect maybe 30 without. But a tune will help maximize the flow.

I have a borla catback and it is SWEEEET sounding! You should wait until you get the car before you make a decision. Also, break in the motor and wait until it "wakes up" you may find that 426 is more than enough! Even with the stock exhaust there is plenty of interior noise, but it sounds so nice. Once you put on after market - forget listening to the radio unless it is cranked up in volume.

Here's the link you need to get hooked up with ARH. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24491 They are an easy install and sound great. I installed my own and the power increase is noticable. I have not done any dyno work and don't have CAI yet, I am waiting for Vararam to release their product for the Camaro. It will be a great combination and then i will get dyno and tune. Can't wait but have no choice but to wait.
