That big, fat pricetag seems to match that big, fat Challenger. Are they paying per pound? The Camaro is going to be a great deal. The Challenger is still great, but as a deal, Dodge can do better.

If I hear the msrp for the SS is 30K, if will freak (the good kind).

there was one in Arlington selling for 37995. I went to go look at it an the salesmen would not leave me alone. I was like "I just wanted to see it....so please go away and leave me alone for the LOVE OF GOD!!!".

Yes, the going rate is about $10/lb. I believe that is how Dodge set the price, I can't think of any other reason why it would be that high.

If the camaro is priced at 30 like some here are hoping I might buy one, nice finish to your comment I was about to go all nutz on yo ass son! lol jk, but I hope it is priced at 30k but alot on this forum said the maro would weigh 3500-3700 lbs and they were wrong :((sadly).

The SS V8 manual weighs 3860 lbs.. Multiply that by 7.5 dollars and you got $28,950 which is what I am willing to pay.. That's where I came up with the figure of $7.50 per LB is what I'll be willing to pay for a Camaro. The Dodge Challenger weighs a hefty 4140 lbs and is priced at $37,995 msrp, (even though dealers overcharge).. So the Dodge comes in a little over $9.00 a pound if you manage to find the SRT8 at MSRP... If not, its over $10.. I'm checking all the Publix grocery's and Winn-Dixie's to see if they are going to have any specials on the horse meat...;)

Challenger with a manual should be around 4000 lbs.
