Crap plugs

I am gearing up to run a bigger shot of nitrous, and have a couple of things coming in the mail to make this possible. I installed some of the zex plugs two days ago. I drove the car to work the next morning, and noticed it running alittle rough, and a little loss of power. At first I thought it was just in my head. I had not juiced yet, but on the way home from work, I pulled up next to a ricer who wanted to go. I went to arm the system, and drop a gear, but before I could, I noticed my check engine light had come on. Does anyone else run these zex plugs, and has anyone had this trouble with them. I have since changed back to the stock plugs, and am leary of trying them again.

So far I've stayed at the 75hp shot. I have been looking toward the future and what to do when I decide to increase it and I remember asking Rod1 and he said he's running an NKG LTR7IX-11 plug.

Ya... Ive heard the same. I think the ngk6 is two steps cooler, and I thimk im gonna go with the ngk7' s which should only be 1 cooler. This just happened last night, and im at work today, so im am anxious to read the code, and figure out what the hell happened. Just looking to see if anyone else has had trouble with these. Googled it, and seen a few ricers that have had some similar issues.

Bought a code reader, and took a look. These plugs ended up throwing 10 misfire error codes. Bought and installed NGK7s ,and I swear Chevy should have put these plugs in from factory. Seems like a smoother idle, and better response. Buyer beware of Zex plugs.

Hey Jeff, could you post a link for the same type of spark plugs that you bought ngk7's? I would like to buy them but i don't know which exact model is the ngk7.

You know I looked for a internet link and Google just kept taking me to a place where I could order them. I ended up just writing down NGK LTR7IX-11, and going to a napa auto parts. They had them for me that afternoon. Not only have I heard of this plug from a few guys on these forums, but the guy at the local speed shop looked em up, and confirmed they were the plug for me, and told me to go to napa, because they were going to be quite a bit cheaper than him. They were still 9 bucks a piece, nit worth the price. I will still look for the link, and post i do find it.

This just kind of describes the plug. They are gapped at 40 from the factory. I regapped them to 35.
