production hold on manual transmission production?
so being the impatient wank that i am... i keep calling my dealership to ask where is my order sitting at... 1100 still...
so i decided to call around to other dealers to ask if they have an open allocation... ive called 7 and they all said "we will not accept your order since you will cancel your order with another dealership"... i know its kinda taking business away from 1 dealership to another... but im just trying to get my car as soon as possible... anyways a few of them went onto saying that GM has halted production on manual transmission builds both v6 and v8... so i said that doesnt make sense i see alot of people getting thier car still... they said they are also getting the run around from gm... i find this hard to believe... anyone here from the 'inside' can shed some light on these 2 concerns? any help is appreciated |
there was a problem with the SS M6 couple weeks ago..as of now there is no hold on any production

maybe you would have to ask some one like camaroscotty or fbodfather.

constraints
my dealer informed me last week that he was advised that there may be constraints on the ss in the upcoming cycle--don't know if it is true or not
