Difference between spray wax and spray detail?
After washing my black SS it’s almost mandatory that I have to hit it with some Ice synthetic detail to get off all the streak marks I left behind. Now I also have a bottle of Mothers spray wax, which works just as good and leaves a smoother finish. I also noticed the water beads off when I wash it again the following week, which doesn’t happen when I use the Ice detail spray. Are there any differences between a quick spray wax and a spray detailer?

Wax causes the water to bead up on your car. If you have a nice layer of paste wax or liquid wax, the water will bead longer. Detail spray is used to assist in drying and bring the look of the wax back to life. Spray wax just coats the surface, but it doesn't last very long usually (maybe 1 month if you're lucky.) I've heard that most detail sprays are just highly diluted spray wax. This isn't true all of the time. I would wax your car, then use the detail spray to assist in drying.

Some folks call them “Spray waxes,” some folks call them " Spray detailer, the Spray Waxes had a little more durability then the Spray detailer out there. Some also have sealant like our Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray with Polycharger to maintain your finish after washing for the slick look.
