Do you ever get just really tired of trying to do simple frequent tasks with cheap junk? I recently did. I have come to hate a cheap chincy tire gauge. Check my new one out. $46.75 plus shipping. Expensive? Oh yes you bet but quality throughout. Built tough and accurate. End of my rant.

Somehow I always know I am going to find a "nice" from you in simple threads like this.... LOL

Nice gauge by the way, what is with the water in it?

Brianskeet 01-20-2011 04:10 PM

It is an oil that is there to protect the gauge. It reduces the impact to the gears inside the gauge. It has mechanical and oil dampers built into it. I did kind of get over the top in my search for the perfect tire gauge, but in my defense i ordered it when I had just broken a cheap gauge with the first use

Amazon carries them. I have a thing for quality tools and it definitely qualifies.
