AutoX!

AutoX at Great America in Santa Clara! My buddy drove by on his way to school and saw cones in the lot and sent me a photo with the caption "Race track at Great America" did anyone know about this!? I will be heading over there later today to watch if anyone want to join in!

I believe that is SCCA if its Great America. The course is a little narrow for our cars being as wide as they are. Other clubs that cater to wider cars such as camaros and corvettes would be UFO or American AutoX. There's an AutoX event in Marina this weekend; I think Steve is going tomorrow.

I heard that the SF Lotus club allows others to participate in their road course events, were there any other types of cars other than Lotus out there running? There's an SCCA event in Oakland at the end of this month. Helps to be a member, they do sell one day memberships. The SCCA events are tighter, yet they still are fun. The last American Auto-X event was last weekend, that was a great and fast course. The series starts in March again.

YUP! and that video you posted is the one i went to! it was a decent sized track. There was cars from Mazda Miatta's to Mustang 5.0's and Boss 302's. OHHH! and some lady took her honda fit on the track lol! They said it was $50 for members and $60 for non members to come out and race.
