Funny review, I think at the end when they said if you pick the red car you can't loose out on an awesome car (or something like that). Of course both cars were red, and they did lay some rubber down on the pavement.
Of course they did not mention that the ZL1 is also offered in an auto tranny which would eliminate the cup holder problem while shifting gears. But overall a fair honest write up from a fun perspective. |
"Fuel economy? Why?" - Love it.
I think that's how all car reviews should go. Most are too "techie" and make decisions based on performance ranges that the vast majority of owners never venture into. On another note, I've had multiple conversations with Cheryl Pilcher regarding the problems with the cup holders and manual transmissions. It was not a priority for Chevy, clearly. Probably shouldn't have been either. My Hurst upgrade did mitigate the problem by shortening the throw. |

production schedules have absolutely nothing to do with the shifter. i'm not sure what the problem was with this one. maybe it's an isolated incident like with that one review (one of the first comparos) where they had shifting issues in the zl1 |

My ZL1 is just now at break in mileage. I haven't been to a track or found a secluded straight strech. I was wondering if short shifting like they did on the ZL1 is the fastest way down the track?
