Wheel Locks For ZL1 Wheels
I am thinking getting wheels locks for the ZL1. Does anyone know if the thread pattern and bolt length on the ZL1 is the same as the SS or LT? Other than McGard and Gorilla Locks, any other brands that you have tried and have trust in? Thanks

I bought the recommended McGard locks and sent them back. They were good on length but too small on the seat (cone only partially covered the seat). The wrench size was 13/16. The 22mm McGards are too long to look right. My GM parts guy said the LT and SS locks are not recommended for the ZL1. So I'm looking for locks also.

I have the Gorilla locks on my SS and the part I like about them vs the McGuards, is that I think haveing one odd lugnut (the McGuard) on each wheel just doesn't look right.
My Gorilla's came as a set of 20, so all 4 wheels have 5 lug nuts that look the same. Plus, that makes for 5 locks on each wheel. I'd bet that given time Gorilla will come out with a set made for the ZL1. |

Here is a pic of the GM wheel locks I got free from my dealer. The picture of the package is for reference as the lugs in the package are the original non-lock lugs. The real lock lug is on the wheel. These are the bright 5-spoke wheels powdercoated like the carbon concept wheels. |
Thanks for the info guys. Bruce your wheels look great, the shop did a really nice job on them.
