Wyoming Members-Check in here!

There are several WY members I know about, so there should be enough of us to at least know each other. We are such a small state, we probably have mutual friends! Some following the Colorado Members Check in Here thread. So check in here too!

Trying for a tour.

Maybe the 27th, any of you up for a mountain road trip? Meet in Laramie, then to Walden, then down CO14 to Ft. Collins and back to Laramie? This is a great mountain drive on good mountain highways. Vets and stangs come this way from time to time.
I think the dealer here will sponsor a lunch or before lunch gathering, have space in the lot, etc. Several great 69's in town would show up. Take some time in Laramie to visit, compare notes, then on over the hill on the mountian roads. One hour to walden, 1 1/2 hours back to Ft. Collins, 1 hour back to Laramie.
27th might be best, otherwise July 11 or later? Got to get a date and count, so post up.

I'm up for a trip on the 27th. The 11th is the Mile High Nationals in Denver so I'll be there getting my nitro fix.

I did-and he is checking. I told him not a big "event", but as place to meet. That day may be the "party in the park", but probably won't conflict. let me see how many sign up from colorado in a few days.

I know there at least a couple dozen cars in WY, so hopefully more folks are looking at this. If it starts to take shape, maybe folks can email the dealers and ask for some help in getting the word out?

Wyoming is just a small town with real LOOONG streets ya know!

2SSONLY 06-15-2009 07:52 PM

That's right -- streets that are just long enough for the Camaro to roam as it was built to do!

Camaro rally

A couple of notes that should be of interest from the Colorado folks that look like they can make it.

I am up for the 27th. This sound great! Does anyone have time to Put a map together and PM the others with cars already. I would but my time is still slammed on the QC thread.

I can take the lead and do the map. How about a post here? Do you think PM the map would be better? I'd have to sort through here and find out who has cars or use squirrel site to locate?

Wife might want to come are you planning on this being drivers only?

Of course all the passengers you can legally fit should be included!!!

Just got confirmation that Laramie GM will host us around noon, if we have 10+ cars coming. I'll meet folks coming from Ft. Collins in Laramie (or I could do a down and back flip), then on over the hill. Then the Wyoming cars can finish the leg back to Ft. Collins.

Come on folks, lets get enough to do this. I need a firm count by Tues, June 23rd.

And hope for no HAIL

I am now the owner of a CGM 2SS/RS :happyanim: Well as soon as it comes in that is!

Yeah had to work quick.... didn't think it would last long.

With our cars being invoiced within days of each other I wonder if they'll both come on the same truck?

Ok Colorado Wyoming (or anyone for that matter), here are the details of 2 weeks worth of gathering enough cars.
June 27th, Meet at Verns Place in Fort Collins at 9:30 am. Departing promptly at 10am. We can over minor details then.
Arrive Laramie at 11:15+- to Laramie GM Auto on East Grand Ave.
The best Camaro dealer in the region BTW
Depart Laramie 12:30-45pm for Walden, Colorado
Arrive Walden, Colorado 2pm
Depart Walden 2:20ish
Arrive back at Verns via CO hwy 14 apprx 4:30pm. (winding mountain road)
I'll be at Verns to start, so I will get a couple of round trippers on good ol US287! If anyone wants to wait to meet in Laramie if your coming from the north , PM me and let me know. Can still caravan back from Ft. Collins to Laramie- arrrive 5:45+- Total miles 208+-
Map link is:
