***Auction*** for Oshawa & GM signed Camaro Poster

1 Attachment(s)
Mike Judge "Super60" has donated a signed Camaro Poster for auction at C5 Fest IV.

We are offering the chance to own this "one of a kind" un-framed poster to everyone via the forum.

The winning bid will be announced during final ceremonies at the fest and proceeds go directly to Colonial Hills Baptist Church.

Post up your bid or bid live at the fest. This this post will be periodically updated with the high bid.

Pictured below are the Oshawa signatures. Mr. Settlemire will complete the GM signings. More pics to come as the fest begins, but this is a must have for any Camaro collector

Current Bid: $800.00

Attachment 537417

THANK YOU Mr. Judge

EDIT:

It has been recently brought to our attention by a thoughtful member (FireCracker) that the local Indianapolis community has recently endured a fatal bus accident killing three people and injuring many others. The bus was returning from a church youth camp when the accident occurred. The story has made the national news and motivated us to reconsider how best our charity money can help.

We love St. Judes but we feel that the timing of this tragedy and the proximity to the C5F IV would be a real opportunity to give back to a community that has been home to our event two years in a row.

In the accident, 3 adults were killed. Two were a married couple expecting their second and leaving behind a 2 year old child. The third was a mother of 5.

As such we ask for your understanding as we make the last minute decision to give the money generated by our silent auction back to the local community in an effort to provide at least some comfort to the families that are dealing with this loss.

Very respectfully,

The Camaro5 Fest Staff / Camaro5 Moderators

Is that $500.00?

mlee 07-28-2013 09:09 PM

Yup... last one (without GM sigs) went for 1,800. Might not get that much, but it's definitely a reachable goal for this one.

Any Bids?

skipinminn 07-28-2013 11:03 PM

Will this be for the Saint Jude Charity?

I am aware

Just like any good auction, you gotta start somehwere, and it looks like the bidding has begun.

Carry on :headbang:

mlee 07-29-2013 09:04 AM

Do I hear $650...

Mr. Wyndham 07-29-2013 11:30 AM

The last poster of this kind ran for $1800....and it wasn't quite as big, nor included as many signatures.

...I think we can break that mark for charity! :D :D :headbang:

Mhm. Send me your contact info and we'll get squared up.

Well thank you Super60 for the donation!! I never thought that I would get this. I will hang it with pride next to my Camaro. Very pleased to be able to help others in need as well. I truly thought it would go for more.

If I ever decide to part with it, all proceeds will donated to a worthy charity.

Mike,

Many thanks to you and the entire Oshawa team for taking the time to do this. Having you all be apart of the family from conception to "old age" like some of our camaros is really a treat. The personal touches make us all feel special. Giving back to the community makes it even Better!!

Jason

mlee 08-06-2013 11:03 AM

Congrats Jason, I was excited to see you win this. Mike has done so many cool things for charity and our members, but it just keeps getting better.

Having both GM Detroit and GM Oshawa sign makes this a one of a kind keepsake. Wish the mods could have signed it to.. LOL

Yes it is one of a kind, as it's the only one with that color Camaro along with some of the original crew who worked with me on the very first 5thgen here in Oshawa.

Next year maybe I'll do a Z-28 poster , as it could be one of my last ! And who knows maybe i'll even be down in Texas to see it auctioned off !
