New Camaro search =(
Ok so last Friday I FINALLY got my 2010 Camaro Welcome Kit that had the letter and the Red Camaro picture with my name, order #, date ordered. I frame it and everything. Then Monday of this past week the dealership I gave $500 to for the Camaro closes down forever on Monday just like that :(
So now I am talking to another local dealership to pre-order my Camaro again the same Camaro except this time I am also ordering the white Rally stripes on the car too so now it will look better at least. The bad part is the dealership I am talking to says they only have 5 slots and 4 of the slots are taken so they only have one more left for me which I am going to try and get Monday and that my car wont be here until September or October since they are only getting one a month:mad0260: I really wanted this to drive this summer and I still am out $500:paddle: This other dealership better not go out of business too before I get my Maro! |
Sorry to hear
|
Also does anyone here know if the Oshawa Camaro plant is affected by this 9 month GM lapse this summer or not?

Hate to hear that. Always use a credit card to put deposits down. Then if something happens you can get your deposit back from the credit card company.

They should never have cashed your check. Get with the dealer (or what's left of it) and get your money back. If not, go back to your bank and file a claim getting your money back through them. "
The dealer should have NEVER cashed your check in the first place!!!!!!!!!! If they gave you some crap of, "the check is non-refundable," tell them, "and so is the order I placed with your dealer. NOW FILL MY ORDER or give me my money back...or you will hear from an attorney." DO IT. Don't settle for that crap!!!!!!!! |
Confused!!
If the dealer ordered the car - AND you have a paper trail, GM should make sure you get your car! or is there more to the story? |
mmmmm?

wow,that sucks. http://images.icanhascheezburger.com...3085076681.jpg

You should contact GM about your car. If the order went in the car should get built. I think you will need your work bench#. They should be able to tell you what dealer will get it but you will probably lose the $500. Good luck.

It doesnt work that way guys, dealer closes and your pretty much screwed 9 times out of 10. Its not like there is someone waiting at the door to handle peoples issues. The dealership is pretty much dead when they go out of business. Whos the attorney gonna contact? The dealership is dissolved and good luck getting your bank to just refund your money after the checks been cashed. Aint gonna happen.

Consider me educated - I guess
