dump the headers and spend your money on a heat exchanger upgrade

I went with a similar setup on mine except I went with a 20% overdrive pulley setup for the supercharger and no headers. $6200. Got 620 RWHP and 606 RWTQ. The car is a complete beast.

its worth every penny!!! That's the package I've got on my car, I also added some extras like the heat exchanger, big gulp, ceramic coating on the headers and intercooler reservoir.

Serious question here, I think that the Hennessey packages and the Lingenfelter packages don't involve headers and such they run off of stock manifolds and exhaust. Yes maybe headers are expensive, and not that huge a gain, but why wouldn't that just be a standard swap, but they are expensive and not a huge gain?

Anyone have any thoughts here. One of the weight savings threads claims you can save about 100 pounds by swapping for after market exhaust, I know that's not all in the headers, the ARH are thick steel so there may not be weight savings there. Kooks and other brands maybe a little lighter.

Your missing a heat exchanger.
Not sure if the stock pump will make it there on its own.
Will there be any stock ZL1's in Alberta?!
