Opinions wanted....white or ashen gray?
 

I've found a 2SS RS 1 LE in both White & Ashen Gray. The white one is closer to me, but I guess that doesn't really matter. I'm going back & forth between the two colors. Originally I wanted the silver ice, but then seen a ZL1 in ashen & fell in love. I really like the contrast of the white though. Please give me y'all opinions please especially if you own that particular color. Only thing that scares me about the ashen is future swirl marks. Car will be babied & garage kept & will not be a daily driver just a weekend toy.

Ashen gray

Mine is white and I love it! Considered black but was worried about swirls too. Downsides with white are paint chips show really well on the front bumper since the plastic underneath is black. I have a clear-bra and have been told the edges of the film will show dirt much easier on white too. That being said, I have no regrets getting white.

I also have a 2006 Ram that's pretty close in color to GMs ashen grey and it doesn't show swirls at all. A friend at work has an AG SS, 2010 I think, and his looks pretty decent too. Have you seen them swirl badly or just assuming they'll show since its a darker color?

In the end, one color will speak to you more than the other and you'll convince yourself you made the right choice. Go with whichever was your first choice and don't over-analyze... that's my opinion.

I haven't seen the ash gray in person but the white Looks awesome.

I am going through the same thing. I was debating these 3 diff colors so I had to make this to get my wife's opinion and friends opinion as well. I still like Ashen.

Ashen; had the v6 rs before trading in. I always had a lot of complements. Good luck!!!

White. Love the look of a 1LE with all the contrast. I saw the ashen grey not that long ago in person and it was nice but not as nice as the SW.

I have the Ashen Grey, but just not a fan of the 1LE wheels or hood wrap on this color...the contast against the white, red or silver is the best if you are going to keep them on...

It is hard to beat a white car with black wheels. I love my inferno orange 1LE but if there was a white one available I would have went with it.
