How Do We Do It? From the beginning, our operation was set up to function as rapidly and efficiently as possible. Most of our order processing system is automated which means that an order can be completely processed and ready for pick up within minutes of the order being placed. Unlike many of our competitors, APEX Motorsports is a stocking distributor for most of the brands we carry and not a dedicated drop shipper. This allows us to ship in stock items the same day or next if the order is received after our last pick up. In the event that an item is out of stock, APEX Motorsports has access to multiple extensive distributor networks and can draw on the inventories of dozens of regional warehouses across the country and ship the item from the warehouse closest to you. APEX Motorsports has another key advantage over our competition. Our physical location. Like Amazon, Zappos, and many other major shippers APEX Motorsports is located in Louisville, Ky. which places us within 600 miles of more than 60% of the United States population. It also places us only a few miles from the UPS World Hub. That means that once your order leaves our loading dock it doesn't have to travel 1-2 days to be processed before being directed to your address. It is done within hours of the order being placed and is on it's way to your door, more than 60% of which aren't very far down the road. Below is a map displaying the estimated delivery times for orders shipped from APEX Motorsports. http://www.apex-speed.com/images/shipmap.gif |

They are back!
|
I dont see them on the aFe site, all they have are Corvette product numbers. Since aFe now owns/produces PFADT headers, are you saying you have Camaro Tri-Y's in stock?
|
AFE has not officially announced them yet so they are not on their website yet. We were given permission to take orders and start shipping this week.

1700 for headers!
These must make 100 more hp to the wheels. :yikes: Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |
On the ZL1 you would probably want to go with off road connection so it would be $1299.99. Either way, +50 rwhp and +50 rwtq at 5250 RPM is a pretty awesome improvement for the money.

No way just headers are adding 50 rwhp .
That musk be one manicured dyno. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |
Same DynoJet dyno they run every customer car over. Midrange gains are what the tri-y design was created for.
|
Sorry apex not buying it.
Every well known tuner I've talked to says 10-20 with headers. If the P's were truly that much power the other brands would be obsolete. Plus this is a vendors in house dyno ...lets see some real customers results. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |
Toby, the typical enthusiast doesn't have a dyno at home. They go to a vendor and have it done. There are plenty of other dyno charts out there from when the Pfadt headers were on the market the first time a couple years ago. 10-20rwhp is air intake numbers, especially on the ZL1. With a traditional 4-into-1 long tube header you can easily see 30+rwhp. Even on the Camaro SS. If someone is telling you otherwise you need to consult with someone else who is actually experienced with these cars because whoever you are talking to clearly isn't.
Tri-Y headers are designed for maximum mid range gains rather than peak gains. That doesn't make anything obsolete. It is just a tool for another job. The Pfadt Tri-Ys are ideal for street performance but if you are building a 1/4 mile car then traditional 4-into-1 headers are what you need. |
