Stolen Silver LS with Blue Chevy Logos - Calgary

Hi guys, could anyone around Calgary, AB area keep a lookout for a Silver LS, blue logos, and aftermarket black VMR rims?

We've been having some problems with a roommate, and things have taken a turn for the worse this morning.

License plate is BJK 582

Thank you

Compuzen 03-31-2013 06:04 PM

Worst Roommate Ever....

Hope you find it fast man

upflying 03-31-2013 06:18 PM

Roommate took the car without permission?

CocoaKid 03-31-2013 06:29 PM

Kinda, he was supposed to be moved out today, all his stuff is gone, everything...

Guess he needed a cool looking movin van lol

midnighter 03-31-2013 06:30 PM

That's grand theft regardless, get him good!

Call or turn on the OnStar, with the police the vehicle can be tracked in a few minutes.

FitterMike 03-31-2013 10:11 PM

Pics?

Meltdownaverted 03-31-2013 10:47 PM

OnStar can track for sure

Good luck

Hi, the car in my profile is the one (I can't insert the pic here from my phone)

Cops are working on it...I'm kinda hoping its wrecked so I can get a nicer one!

smarbrit 04-01-2013 01:37 PM

That totally sucks!! Surprised he hasn't brought it back yet! Some people! Keep us posted!

dragon22 04-01-2013 02:53 PM

I'll keep an eye out Brendan. I'm out and about with my job, so gives me the perfect opportunity.

CocoaKid 04-01-2013 04:27 PM

Thanks a lot for the support everyone! He knows the noose is tightening now, and I sent him a text to remind him he's probably not going to see his kid from anywhere besides a jail cell for a long time. Other news, I'm looking at getting a new one lol

Nice to know! I haven't signed anything yet for my car. Definitely going to make sure that is what I get!

Meltdownaverted 04-02-2013 02:24 PM

SmartBrit, they'll only let you get it if you buy new :( .....mhoskins76 you should have no issues in fact I think you can get your contracts right away so you don't miss out.....I'm personally taking advantage of the 0% right now

Piper 04-02-2013 09:36 PM

I saw this car in Saddleridge yesterday at the Tim Hortons on 80th ave east of the circle.

Dealership should be getting the VIN this week once the car is built and we will have "discussions" from that. LOL

So what is the deal with the 0%? Is there a term limitation on it? Any other incentives I can get?

Could be a good thing it was still in one piece yesterday if that was it

CHMSC 04-03-2013 01:12 AM

No onstar?

NFRNOSS 04-03-2013 01:18 AM

Yeah, why hasn't onstar been used to find your car? Even if you have to re-activate it for a month, it would be worth it to find your car!!!

dragon22 04-03-2013 01:19 AM

Yes, no OnStar? I would be talking to them about activating it and have the police close in on it!

CocoaKid 04-03-2013 10:57 AM

Nah, all fault of my own I didn't have OnStar activated, basically just bought it and didn't cross my mind. I tried to get then to activate it after the fact, but was told it couldn't be done *facepalm

NFRNOSS 04-03-2013 11:08 AM

How can you not activate OnStar for a car you own? This doesn't seem right...

You can have it activated any time. Call and speak with someone different or a supervisor.

I keep getting told it can't be done without actually being in the car to press the blue button. I think it's bs, because what if I suddenly took off an stopped making payments? I'm sure they'd hav no problem helping the repo man but eh cest la vie...
(I've talked to four different On Star people)

Yeah, you have to push the button. Doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense to me.

remember last year when everyone freaked out about OnStar being able to track a vehicle after an account had been canceled?? Not that they would but people were scared they might? Well because of the legislation that came of that OnStar is no longer able to track a vehicle that hasn't been activated buy the Blue Button Press.....So Sorry Brendan that you still haven't found your car
Before that legislation OnStar would have been able to activate it for you and you'd have your car back now
