My Camaro will be on HGTV's House Hunters on 5/24/12!

...and I will be too :drinking: The episode follows me looking for my first home with the help of my two younger sisters. At the top of my "Wish List", is a garage that I can keep my new car in. Now just to warn everybody - they were very strict with not being able to mention any brand names. So, I wasn't able to say "Camaro" on the show. I'm not even sure if you will be able to tell what kind of car it is from the camera angles they used. But I can assure you it'll be my 2012 2LT/RS! The show airs at 10pm ET on HGTV. I heard those shows are totally staged... that they wont even talk to you until you have a closing date... A local radio station had people call in, and one caller said she was on a show and verified the story. And that they pay poorly. What is your experience?

I've noticed them blur out some vehicle emblems before. Why do they do that? I've seen GMC sponsor quite a few of the shows but not all of them. I don't think they have to worry about advertisers jumping ship considering everyone I know watches that show.

Really love the show but I rarely guess the correct one. They don't go by their requirements sometimes.
Its probably one of those things where you have to be there in the house, not just view it on edited TV. Some of the home designs are hilarious. Watched Property Virgins last night (yea, different show) and one Toronto condo had bathroom leading into another bathroom. Hilarious. |
