Actually the 1LE is not a new model, just an SS with suspension parts taken from the ZL1, just another option package. I say your good.

It is done. The trudge with the vert is over. Very mixed feelings about it all. Once again thanks to all the forum members and the FB group. This day would have never arrived without your help. I also have to thank the Camaro team, GM, the BBB autoline and the sales manager at the dealership. There is an unsung hero in all of this who I will forever be grateful to. Not sure if you are still following this thread but thank you for bringing integrity to this process.
