Beautiful. Looks like a million bucks. Congrats on a spectacular build. I am jealous of you HufferSS. If only I could make my 98 S10 look that sexy and make that much power. Then I might be happy. LOL

You could....all it takes is a checkbook. :D

I am extremely pleased with the way this car has turned out so far and the Whipple is the centerpiece.

Unfortunately my checkbook always seems to be out of checks for some reason. LOL

Congrats again. I never liked the green until I saw your car. Extremely sexy.

You sound like my wife...at first she was.....:paddle:....but after a few rides in it and seeing me giggle like a schoolgirl she was more like ............but then when I told her we could get her Vert lowered to match my stance she was like  so it all worked out.

Thanks.

Will you adopt me? I need mod money.

Why can't vendors put together a complete coil relocate kit to be done at home? I know there'd still be some wiring involved but it looks awesome. I ended up going with the polished holley valve covers because I got tired of waiting. But if it had been available I'd have gone that route in a heartbeat.

Wow, I bet that thing is quite a handful! Have a great time driving that beast... I'm not sure what I think about Orange and Green together, but I'm sure it feels planted! :D

Holy crap! I didn't realize that you had so much stuff done!:headbang: WOW. That's pretty sweet and looks killer. All I thought you had done was the blower, a cam, and the 9". You've created quite the ride my friend.

Thanks. Those Vengeance guys spotted a sucker and reeled me in.:paddle:

Ok...I was kind of a willing victim.

That's an in progress but I am confident it will be resolved.

You have more in wheels and tires than I have in my whole build. :sm0:

We got all day on Sat! No leaving until you're holding a 10.99 slip. 3500 and dump the clutch. 16.5 psi in those slicks, no problem!!:D

HufferSS 10-04-2011 10:07 AM

I'd love to see 10.99 first trip to the track but I don't think it's going to be in the cards....we'll see. Bogarts (w/ 28" front) should be here Thursday in time for PW. I can't head down til Friday afternoon so that worked out well......time to throw a beatin into some Mustangs and Challengers.... :paddle:

Officially resolved. Strange will replace the unit when we can get it to them. I have the car scheduled back at Vengeance later this month for another reason so we can resolve then.

Another tip of the hat to Vengeance and to Strange for making things right without a hassle.

Oh, it'll be in the cards!:) Thats good that all those companies stepped up to the plate. After all, with all the stuff you had done it had to cost your first born.:sm0:

Good call on the 28's. The 26's looked like dirtbike enduro tires with all those knobbies.

Dirt bikes pull wheelies. :happyanim: Yeah ok they did look kind of off roady. :bellyroll:

Kevin@V 10-05-2011 04:01 PM

Thanks everyone for all the comments. We have really enjoyed this build and Bill is a great guy to work with! We cannot wait to turn the boost up and really this what this thing will do!!

Now put a hurting on some folks at Pony Wars Bill!

1 7/8"....if I had known this would be where I was going to end up I would have bought the 2".

HufferSS 10-27-2011 11:44 AM

Quick update...headed to the track again tomorrow night with new Pfadt drag coilovers installed and a tweaked tune....looking for 10.60 out of the M6. :paddle::paddle:

94guy 10-27-2011 12:11 PM

what was done to the tune? more timing? what did the car run before?

We couldn't run it out the back door but it clicked off a bunch of 7.0 1/8 miles which should be 10.9x or so. I've put Pfadt drag coilovers on it since then and some race gas and timing.

The car produced a best 60 I think of 1.6x before....Ron has the slips...so if we can get 1.5 out of it it and then more power we should be able to see some 10.60s I hope.

Really we want to see the impact of the Pfadt coilovers more than anything as I am about to start on Phase II of my build....so the Whipple is probably up for sale.
