DIY Interior Trim

3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I am kinda new to the site but have been doing a little bit of digging to see if anyone has posted anything about doing custom trim on the inside of their camaro. The trim kits I know run about $500 and only have a few colors. But I did mine in suede and it came out real nice and it was reallllllllllly easy. I think I only spent $30 too! I'll post some photos but if anyone wants instructions let me know! :)

How do you make it stick on there

3m heavy duty 90 spray adhesive. I got it from Lowe's and home Depot for about 14 bucks.

I went our tonight and bought a different color for the trim, I am going to do it red this time. I'll be posting a video on how to do it and also some pics and a tutorial on how to remove it easily. They should be up by tomorrow night :)

Thanks man! Sounds like it would look Hella nice. I went out and bought some other typeople of material just to see how it would stick. I think this is a lot better and a lot more options than buying the trim kits from GM

Is that the arm rest in the second pic? How was that to get out? Not paid attention to that in all the times I've had the door panels off.

When you open up the center console there should be about 8 screws. Once you take those out you close it and pull it off. Normally you wouldn't see it colored because it's wrapped in leather (SS, RS, ZL1) but I did mine because it had that rubber it could stick too and it wouldn't get ruined.
