Sounds mean and probably the first time i have seen a RX7 built for the strip. Do have to say I didn't know a modern engine will turn on without a Air cleaner/filter. Guess now that i think about there is no way the computer would know it doesn't have one.

right on, we have done quite a few lsx fd swaps, one w/ a heads cam ls1, one w/ a 6.0 turbo 4l80 and on w/ a 370 twin 62mm, powerglide and a solid 8.8 rear ;)

Should have stayed rotary, or even swapped to a 20B, better power and saved some $$. Don't see many 3rd gens anymore sadly. Wish I still had my 2nd gen GTUs =( Would have loved to run this guy at the track ^.^
