2 strikes but I got a hit this time
Well way back in 1989 I wanted a 1987 Iroc in red and found one in mint condition but when I went to insure it they wanted 5k per year since I was 19 years old ,so I had to pass on it. Then in 1998 I found a new SS in red with the hurst shifter exactly the way I wanted it, I went to pick it up but the wife could not reach the clutch since she is 5'2 or something like that so I passed on it again. Forward oct 2012 I went to my dealer and was able to order a 2013 1LE in red with the option I wanted. So 23 years in the making but I will be getting my red camaro:happyanim:. I still remember back in 1980 when my mom brought home a brand new camaro in grey metalic with the rear spoiler. She stuffed me and my 2 brothers in there and took us everywhere in it.
I will use this as a daily driver but handle it with the upmost care and do track days in it. On nice days I will ride my motorcycle to work and leave here in the garage. It has been a while since I have purchased a brand new car so this is a big deal for me. Just excited and ready to roll. I hope to contribute to the forum and learn alot from here as I have been driving other brand sport cars for the past 20+ years. I purchased from my local dealer since the service manager fixed my 07 Silverado am very happy with their family owned store and service I have recieved from them in the past.
