Just curious how much I could get for my car...
 

2010 1 year old 2ss/rs black, black leather, sunroof, auto, all black 21" gm upgrade rims. 16k miles (nearly all hwy miles). blacked out lights all but headlights. I've been thinking of trading it in and getting something new. How much do you think a dealer would give me for it/what could i get for it by selling it privately?

Dealers will only give you "fair" trade in value, which would be about $28k for your car.

I got 32 w/ a wreck and normal 20" wheels. Other than that... basically same car. Most of the dealers wanted to give me 26-27 because of the wreck.

Do you owe? You will usually have to pay it off to get the title before you sell privately. The dealer will handle that stuff for you but will rape you even more than the standard trade it.

I can tell you my local dealership offered me $28k (I paid $28.5k) for my 2LT/RS back in May when I had $15k on mine.
