Corvette E-Ray
No, it has nothing to do with me(my user name). It is rumored that Chevy may be working on a ELECTRIC CORVETTE! Shocking to say the least. HA! HA! Here's a link:

Keeping up. The instant torque is unreal. Likely to protect some future design. Interesting.

Almost everybody buys hp when they go shopping for performance, and they say "wow, feel the power". What they feel is the torque. Torque is good. |
They will be silent, but deadly! :smiling1:

[QUOTE=FenwickHockey65;8806879]Some of y'all are forgetting the potential implications of a hybrid powertrain in a sports car...
QUOTE] I'm not for getting anything.....especially the potential that is possible......my post is a simple statement......IF I wanted an ELECTRIC VETTE it would be one like the one posted in the picture. |
There it is...the "if I wanted a ABC I'd have gotten a XYZ" declaration...
Sometimes I think people wish the Camaro still came with manual locks, manual windows, no AC and a carb'd 396 big block... "I want world beating performance with 2nd Gen technology and 1st Gen cost!!!" |
I want the x Ray vette
|
There is performance, then there is fun, and personality. I would much rather have a 2nd gen Vette than a battery car any day of the week. I don't care if 0 to 60 was 1 second, and pulls 4 g's. It is just too insulated from the experience without an internal combustion engine. Todays cars are insulated enough as it is.
