These I believe were 2007-2008 Impala SS badges, dont have the part number but these are alittle larger than the grille and and trunk lid emblems that are on the Camaro but match the font.

Glad to see yours. I was undecided about putting white ones or black ones on my IOM. The black does look great.

I think I will take the "camaro" off and put the SS badges low I will let you know when I get pics

I did like the one red one, took off the camaro (wanted to switch to black, but the black letters are cheap looking). Was going to leave it plain, but found the large SS emblems. I love the look. Even my wife who don't really care about a car's look complimented me on them. Dealers have them for around $30. I am having my vinyl guy redo the color on the inside so it is orange to match my interior.

where can u find the flag emblems?

JEFF2010SSMANUAL 02-28-2010 03:07 PM

They look nice, but I wish I could find side "SS" emblems that have the same shape as the C A M A R O block letters.

My emblems are in the mail right now. Question is, since I have 8 coats of Zaino on my car, should I do anything to the area I'm going to install them on before sticking em on? Like make a Dawn/Water solution and wash the sealant below the Camaro logo off first?

I removed the "camaro" and added the large SS badges. I had my vinyl guy inlay orange over the red the badges came with to match my interior. I had all the SS badges inlayed as well.

How was it removing the "CAMARO."
Is it just glued on or drilled?????

spectrepig 03-01-2010 09:54 PM

Just stuck with double sided tape. You just need a hair dryer to heat up the tape, some fishing line, and some goo-gone. Oh and some patience.

Something just doesnt look right for some reason with the SS there

Dishsoap strips wax. Wipe with rubbing alcohol, dry well, heat-up a little with hair-dryer to car and emblem.

I AM speaking from experience. I HAVE de-badged several cars, and have re-badged several cars with 3M double sided red tape purchased at AutoZone.

Onereign 03-02-2010 10:14 AM

So the rubbing alcohol will be sufficient for removing the Zaino/providing a better surface for the badge to adhere to?
