I want the seat's on that car. They look super sexy.

The small fender flares are to keep the front 305s from sticking out past the fender lips. The rear fender lips are there because it would look stupid if they just put them on the front.

The quick and simple reason is cost... New front fenders and rear quarters would require extensive retooling. |
the question is whats the cost of the car and are they goimg to over price it and then not understand why it don't sell. Thats just what they have done with the zl1. not worth the cost. If you look around there are tons of zl1's, used for sell. either buyers got in to deep and could not aford them or the car did not add up to all it was made out to be. pricing these cars to high is just what the problem is today. you want to make money make them affordable.

Have you read Mr Wyndham's interview with the Z/28's chief engineer? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286686 |
loving new front end with halogen lights, still hate the rear

I am absolutely in love with the rims. I think they are the best looking factory rims I have seen along with the new CTS-V rims. I hope a third party picks up on these and manufactures them, they would look good on the green machine.

no thanks i'll stick to my zl1. that front splitter does look slapped on to me. its an SS with a ground kit on the outside. i think the zl1 hood and front end is way more aggresive. we will see what 14 zl1 looks like. they should just make our current lights LED, change all the chrome to black. than the car will be perfect.

The ZL1 is gorgeous, I would rather just have the SS with the brakes pakage and the ls7 as an option, I'm sure the the bolt-ons of the Z28 would be way cheaper than factory sticker price.

The lips and skirts probably are carbon fiber. GM has variations of exposed and painted versions out there.. My 427 vert has grey painted fiber pieces on it
