Good vid! I was laughing my ass off. No negative impacts from all those left over parts yet? LOL! Good stuff.

Not so far. Lot of clunking from the motor. I guess I didn't need to take the heads off to do the springs.

You were a lot of help. Esp, when I started to melt down about the gap that was supposed to be there anyway. lmao

Thanks.

You talked me into handling my own kit!

After watching your video and posts I have decided I am going to tackle this same task in my own garage. I am a recently converted motorcycle to car guy. I know jack chit about cars so it should be fun. Thanks for the inspiration.

Worth the price. Perfect height.

robertway 02-21-2010 08:15 AM

PQ, I may have missed it but did you get her aligned and were they able to get it back within stock settings without needing any eccentric kits?

Well, you remember that the dealer wanted 370.00, well I took it to Big Ten tires who said they would do it for 80.00 but he told me to drive it for a couple weeks and then come back. He wanted to let the springs settle. So I go back tomorrow. I'm thinking it may be a problem. Everyone wants to run from this car. lol

robertway 02-21-2010 04:32 PM

Thanks PQ, I am hoping there are no issues, for your sake as well as mine...

PfadtRacing 02-21-2010 08:56 PM

PQ, I linked a fellow forum member to your thread to show him an excellent example of before and after pics of a Camaro with the Pfadt sport package on it. I hope you dont mind;) Thanks for posting up with the great pics!

Of course not. You are more than welcome to. Use the pics how you want. I've sent a number of members toward you guys. I can't be happier with the equipment.

The side by side picture I posted a few posts back is actually one picture. Easy to move around and I think it shows a perfect example of the drop. Should you want to use it, go right ahead, in any capasity.

PfadtRacing 02-23-2010 09:12 AM

Let us know how the alignment goes!

Mike2ss 02-23-2010 10:37 AM

man, I applaud you, great job.

Great job PQ. It does make a huge difference in the ride quality and performance.

Taking it to a different dealership on thursday. he said the alignment specs are the same as stock but just have to see if they have enough adjustment room. :iono:

Easily noticeable difference in curves. If it's placeabo then so be it. But I don't think so. It's 'sits' better while cornering.

viper1cobra 02-23-2010 07:17 PM

I agree that it is much better in cornering after upgrades than it was stock. The lower stance I think is much nicer, I have received many compliments about how nice it looks now.:happyanim:

robertway 03-01-2010 12:24 PM

Hey PQ, any update on the alignment? Thanks...

PQ 06-08-2010 05:02 PM

Quick update on the alignment. Had Big Ten tires do it. They didn't have a problem but of course my steering wheel sits off to the left a bit. :mad0259:

They did say it was close, but had no problems getting it aligned.
