cam and head work...

hey:wave: i want to do the LT4 conversion on my 96Z and i wanna do it my self... has anyone else done it?!:chevy:

yes.

first off, couple of questions...

why do you want to do the LT4 conversion?
how much money are you spending for it?
what kind of power goals do you have in mind?

the lt4 conversion is a good base for what i want to do (twin turbo setup) IMO
i'm spending $2500 for it
and i expect 400 to 425 fwhp

reason I ask is because for the price, there are some better options out there for a h/c package.

they do amazing work. a friend of mine in my local car club had the heads on his LS2 GTO p&p by them. running the stock cam and a CAI, he's pushing over 420 to the wheels.
