exhaust smoke

I have had white smoke come out of my tailpipe three times. It happened once at the dealer when they were putting the paint protector on. They checked it out and replaced a sensor. It just happened again but the car seems to be running fine.

I have an orange 2 ss coupe.

Anyone heard anything else about this problem.

Alot of times they will use oil to lubricate the stainless pipes in the exhaust when they are bent during manufacturing.Maybe???

that's normal for exhaust to give out smoke when its new

Take it to your dealer. Just had the lifters replaced in my SS with 1700 miles. Only smoked once, but it was bad. Mechanic said it had over agressive lifters, blew oil. My car ran fine after also, but it wasn't.

Take it to your dealer. Mine didn't smoke until 1700 miles. Had to have all 16 lifters replaced. Mechanic said it was over-agressive lifters.

Normal, as long as you aren't getting heavy back fire everything is ok.
