Gt9 cam gains
 

Any one with a vortech v3 run a gt9 or know aprox gains from this cam?

I am adding a ls9 to my whipple. 25 to 30 hp.

You have a ls9 cam in your sig are you switching to a gt9 then?

with my TVS and a conservative tune I gained 68WHP.

That's more what I was hoping for 30hp seemed a lil on the low side

Gt9 is great for a positive displacement blower. I got it verbatim from LPE not to use that cam with a centrifugal. In a nutshell it has to do with the boost curve of pd vs centri. Much better cam choices out there for a centri.

And u guys do know the ls9 is much more tame than a gt9?
