-569 rwhp- LS3 LG Motorsports build

Looking for a MAX. effort, stock displacement build for your LS3?

This is one example of what can be done when you have a little more room to work than just a head and cam package. We finished this build up earlier this year for a weekend road race Corvette project.

  • Stock LS3 block
  • Forged Callies crankshaft
  • Forged Rods
  • Forged Pistons
  • 12:1 compression ratio
  • LG Motorsports CNC ported LS3 heads
  • G6XX Custom grind cam
  • LG 1 7/8" Super Pro Headers
  • FAST 102mm LSXR intake
  • 102mm throttle body
  • Tilton clutch
  • 100 octane un-leaded

This would be a bit aggressive for a daily driver, but for someone wanting the most from a stock displacement build, it shows what can be done with a 6.2L package.

That should put it roughly in the 655-670 HP at the engine...or 30-40 more than a OEM ZR1

Last 416 we built for a 4th gen Camaro put down 549 rwhp and 530 rwtq through a 9" Ford rear end, that was using a smaller cam than the above package.

Depends on the total combination of course. Generally speaking going to a stroker combination increases HP roughly 10-15 and torque 35-45 at the tires given no other changes.

What is the price ??? figured that it was about the same for a 416 build ???? I am looking for a nice big cam, and large dose of gas.

might be a newb question, but how does one go about raising the compression ratio?

Why do you say that? It's stock cubes, but all new internals it looks like.
