Passenger Side Air Leak or Side Mirror?

Is anyone hearing an air leak on the passenger side? At first I thought it was a leak in the window molding BUT while driving, my wife rolled down the widow and you could still hear it. She put her hand on the side mirror and the noise disappeared.
This happen to anyone else and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Yeah, I think the air going over the mirrors makes a funny whistling noise, if that's what you're talking about. I hear it when I put the window down.

I've heard this too, assumed (hoped) it was just a whistle effect from the mirror. Haven't paid attention to what speeds I was doing when it starts/stops.

Also, another possibility (I really haven't looked into it close enough)... My on my old 91 Grand Prix, when the windows were down the seat-belt hinge/pully...thing up above the driver's left shoulder would whistle... Maybe it's something like that. Just throwing that out there as a thought.

no sound problems on my end.

A leak or a sound?

first thought it was a leak in the window after rolling the window down, you can still hear it. Put your hand on the side mirror and it stops!

Check your DIC tire pressures...a leak that loud will definately register low pressure.

I have the same issue but on the drivers side. take a flash light and lookdown into the window channel behind the tweeter if you see the triangle molding will have a gap from the glass, if your other side is not makeing noise compare the same points with the light and you will notice the weather stripping is not sealed to the glass and was deformed when the door panel was installed. Mine has since been replaced and noise free. You can also push in the weather stripping behind the speaker and it will go away for a second or two.
