Hmmmm Not sure about this.... On the fence !:popcorn:

classicrockr 03-22-2013 07:06 AM

I like the front look of that ZL1 - the lights look a little more futuristic...kind of menacing

snizzle 03-22-2013 07:10 AM

It's a sad day for Adobe.

GbrilliantQ 03-22-2013 07:12 AM

Ugly. I hope that the teaser was the rear bumper.... somehow.

H & E 03-22-2013 07:13 AM

Not a fan. :yikes:

PNYSLAR 03-22-2013 07:18 AM

god awful thankfully I've bought mine already

G4M3OVR 03-22-2013 07:22 AM

I enjoy the way these look but there is one thing that stands out in my mind with them. More real estate in the front to be sand blasted and look like hell in no time flat. Without any clear bra that is.

coreyaustin17 03-22-2013 07:25 AM

wow thankgod ive got mine not a fan to streamline i prefer the muscle look

Sir Nuke 03-22-2013 07:25 AM

All I will say at this point is...... It's Different.

Easton091 03-22-2013 07:39 AM

Um ok. Not impressed

meissen 03-22-2013 07:43 AM

Instead of getting people turned off or upset with the refresh by posting all these renderings, I wish people would just wait until Wednesday to see the official release.

That doesn't sound fun at all...

myss 03-22-2013 07:45 AM

Looks like we should hold on to ours ,we will have the most wanted model compared to the 69.

Swacer 03-22-2013 07:46 AM

Why does everyone assume they are getting the ZL1 front ends?

nyrfan 03-22-2013 07:47 AM

We already have a large thread going on this, with the same renderings. Why start another?

I agree, but seeing all the speculation is interesting. People have to remember that these are renderings and are NOT the real deal, so don't get caught up in it. You know, like WWF!

As an owner of a '69, with a '13 black 1SS / 1LE on order, I am not a huge fan. I like the '13 because it looks like a modern version of the '69. Updated, but still part of the same creed. This 2014 front looks more 4th gen than 1st gen.

ssmike 03-22-2013 07:58 AM

One thing I despise is speculation! We can all guess but that's just what it is, a guess! Wait 5 days and we'll know! If it does look anything like these renderings....fugly!

plg3rd 03-22-2013 08:01 AM

looks similiar to what the mustangs did to their grill from the 05 to the 2010

Dznts 03-22-2013 08:03 AM

Yeah, we should save some of the vomit for that day :barf:

MackMan 03-22-2013 08:08 AM

Looks too much like the beak... not really feeling either of those. :(

AKA-22 03-22-2013 08:10 AM

no way!!!

PAUL SS 03-22-2013 08:20 AM

blah.

Remember New Coke?

The 2010 Sin 03-22-2013 08:25 AM

Look at the brakes on the "SS" they're on the leading edge. Wonder what this pic was actually originally from?

WE485 03-22-2013 08:35 AM

Fugly

franknbeans 03-22-2013 09:00 AM

I just don't understand why they would put chrome on it... regardless of the front end, chrome trim belongs in 1970

MichiganSRT 03-22-2013 09:00 AM

should have alotta people waiting for the next gen if it turns out like that.

2010SLVRBULIT 03-22-2013 09:05 AM

plus1zero 03-22-2013 09:11 AM

One of my favorite things about ours is the halo lights, I wonder if they'll actually be able to pull those off with this tiny grill design.

jackka 03-22-2013 09:13 AM

I think the parts sale for 2010-2013 Camaro front bumpers are going to go up later this year. :pound:

Your sig pic reminds me of a back cat. Pretty nice car there!

The headlights look like they put together the rear lights of the car and made em clear. The ZL-1 rendition, I'm on the fence with. It looks a little meaner. But idk. Besides good vents, not much you'll do will make anyone say I want this over that type choice. Blah!

It depends on if they change anything else like the hood and front fenders and even the mounting points could be different. You may have to buy much more that its worth to go either direction 2014 to 2013 or 2013 to 2014.

Looks a little Japanese to me . Rice burner?

lbls1 03-22-2013 09:40 AM

This refresh really has to be good. If the result turns out like that red 'ss render-guess, and in addition there's no power increase, then this could mean that my 5th gen plans may be destroyed.

I totally agree- I just ordered a harness from gen5diy to keep my halos on all the time. On a grill that small vertically, halos are going to really tiny. I'm going to be holding on to my '10 SS for a long time.

Black N' Yellow 03-22-2013 10:01 AM

I really like the look of halos so I hope those don't get removed. Those pictures are just an artist's idea of what it may look like. If that is what it looks like then I'm indifferent to it. I don't hate it. It still looks good, but I wouldn't call it a major improvement.

SLEEPER SS 03-22-2013 10:09 AM

Don't like it. To round
