GROUP BUY INTEREST - Adam's PC Kit
 

Someone had suggested they were interested in a getting a PC group buy started so this thread is just a gauge to see if we can make one happen. Final pricing will depend largely in the level of interest, but I was thinking something like our Complete PC Kit (msrp $330) for around $300 with an upgrade to 36oz Detail Spray, 36oz APC, and maybe an extra towel or 2.

Just cast a vote... feeling it out at this point. :w00t:

I would be very interested in this.... would it be possible to subsitute the flex (for more $)? Still on the fence for which one I am wanting to get... lol I like options! =)

I'm interested. Summer is always tight for budget due to family functions/vacations...but still interested.

Interested in just the pc. I have a ton of product lol

Excellent, thanks for starting a group buy interest thread from my suggestion. I'm curious to see what people want in terms of number if products included with the PC and pricing point.

Too expensive and I would be out for sure. During the summer even 300 is a stretch for these sort of purchases. :/

Me too! We need to get this going ASAP and at a price point everyone feels comfortable at.

However, I'd rather see a lower group buy price point than the one suggested, rather than have the package include any upgraded size bottles, extra towels, etc. We already get a 10% discount for members of Camaro5, which brings the $330 porter cable kit down to a tad less than $300. I just don't see a price point of $300 for the group buy being appealing enough since people can already buy the kit for that online with our Camaro5 discount. The addition of towels, extra bottle sizes, etc. just won't seal the deal. The lower price point beyond our normal Camaro5 discount is what's goign to be needed to jumpstart a group buy on a large scale I think. I do believe that our discount is fantastic though, and we all appreciate it. I've bought a lot of stuff from you in the past, so that shows, as well as your quality of products. I'm not trying to undermind that one bit. I'm speaking for this group buy, and what I think will do to get more business for Adams, as well as provide a great discount for us forum members.

Well said Tommy. I just want the basic kit. Never used a pc always by hand and I'm to do it anymore lol. I have allot of Adams products too, works great and smells even better lol

I'd be in for the basic kit too ($239.95). My wife and I really NEED a polisher for the paint on both of our vehicles. I'd buy one if the group buy price was good.

I currently don't have any adam's products. Not because I don't want to try them, but because I've been wanting the pc and product. If this group buy happens for a basic kit this might be my intro to their stuff. :)

To be honest, I'm not sure if I should hold out or not. The reason being, an email I received for a fathers day special promotion is 15% off all products. That's 5% more of a discount than the Camaro5 normal 10% discount. So, for the "starter" porter cable kit that retails for $299.99, is actually $249.99 after discount. Now, THAT's more in the ball park.

So, if Adams can offer this same kit I described with the same discount as the fathers day special ($249.99), and free sway like a free severe swirl removal, towels, etc. (or additional discount and no extra swag), then I'd be willing to wait for the group buy special.

That's a good deal Tommy but I don't think most people want to spend that much. So far everyone that has posted wants the basic kit which with the current discount comes out to $215. I'll text you some info in a minute

Our fathers day sale is live right now... good for 15% off so anyone interested in jumping on a kit that might be your best bet. Hard to organize a PC group buy b/c everyone is going to want different kits and it seems we only have luke warm interest at the moment.
