Awsome I would love to have the Camaro screw the vette.

I wonder if that was a C5 or C6 Z06. If that was a C6 Z06, then that is pretty amazing and that guy has had some serious work done on that SS.

Getting an LS1 Camaro to out run a C5 Z06 or a stock regular C6 isn't that difficult. Throw in a new Cam, ported headers, better cylinder heads and you would be over 400 rwhp

is it really that easy?

i don't know anything about performance upgrades on american cars...

do you have links to companys who develop/sell cams, heads, headers and stuff like that?

Easy, yes. Cheap, no. Unless you can do it all on your own you would be spending some serious money on labor. Parts would run you a few thousand.

Well, there are too many to mention, but some of the more popular manufactures are:

Cams:
Comp Cams
http://www.compcams.com/

Headers:
Kooks
http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/
LG
http://www.lgmotorsports.com/catalog...9dc1c759ad355f

Cylinder heads:
Edelbrock (manufacture more than just cylinder heads)
http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/index.shtml

Lingenfelter (performance tuner who also manufactures cam shafts, cylinder heads, etc)
http://www.lingenfelter.com/store/p20.html

Those are just a few.... there are literally hundreds.

Working on these engines is not really that hard. I took a stock 350ci out of a 72 vette that I rebuilt and turned it into a 383 stroker. The only thing that I had done was the boil and bake of the block and the machine work. All total I think I spent 1000-1200 on parts(cam gaskets etc.)

That Vette was a C5. Not sure it was a ZO6 or not. (The side mirror and portion of the dash give it away.)

Had it been against a C6 ZO6...now THAT would be impressive. ;)
