2010 camaro ss camshaft
Hey guys, I just got my 2010 camaro ss 6M and I'm looking for a good camshaft to install. I want to retain drivability and reliability and lose as little mpg as possible. I'm hoping you guys have good suggestions for a cam of this type. And could you tell me any other valve train upgrades I would need to perfume like springs or pushrods. I just want a little extra power and to get a better sound. Thanks, -Matt

PCM of NCs '545' cam. Good power, no bucking.

Go big the buck and shake is half the fun

376ls3, would I have to install new springs with that cam? I see they say that they recommend it. But will it hurt my car not to?

Best cam for your request is stock. Do you have headers? Any cam upgrade (including stock) benefits from headers and tune. My suggestion is to start small. Get long tubes, cai and tune.....then see how that feels. You will be amazed how these cars respond to simple mods.

I do not have headers. Looking to get some, but I do have a gm performance exhaust which I don't like very much. Other than the exhaust the car is stock. I just bought it so I'm trying to find ways to find some extra power.

Check out this previous post about Nightfury cam. I will probably buy this one when I upgrade mine.
