Now that many are very familiar with the L99, what are some of the tips that make it go better ? Does the octane fix still apply to 2011's ?

So far, my wife is keeping hers stock. She likes the Airaid CAI and the way it sounds when the passing gear kicks in. She liked the Edelbrock x-pipe on mine (manual 1SS) which is going to be her next mod on hers. Deleting the resonators is a start. You get a nice "sleepy" sound until you hit it hard. Hopefully, she'll get a similar effect. These LS Camaros are quiet cars. The Airaid and Edelbrock x-pipe work good. The 1SS manual breaths better and I get that "burplee" sound from a free flowing exhaust and I have the "trash cans" in my car.

Really need to specify in what way you want it to run 'better'.. There are all kinds of mods you could do, some of which are more drastic than others. The L99 runs pretty well stock as long as nothing is wrong. (needing fuse pull or currently using wrong fuel etc)

Please define "better."
