What is a tunes true worth with these mods
 

I have been going back and forth on whether or not to tune my car. I am looking at several options, HP Tuners, SCT, e-mailed tunes and dyno tunes. It's a pretty costly expense regardless of which path I go. I understand the warranty aspect so lets not get into that.

My car has Solo Hi-Flos, New Era Intake, and GMPP exhaust, I'd like to know what is a tune's true hp and tq value compared to untuned for these mods?

Future Mods, underdrive pulley, shorties, and maybe a Whipple in the distant future.

Many will say until you get headers there is not much difference. I have the Predator Diablo turner with their tune installed. I have felt a difference when I go back to stock. When the time comes after I install long tub headers I will get a custom tune from Jannetty (for example) that I will download with my tuner, with the ability to go back to stock if need be.

i had JBA cats, cat back, CAI, and got dyno tuned and made 398WHP. my car ran great. stock Ls3 put down around 365 i think. its not all about the gains though. the car "felt" better. and if you get a tune now. the next one will be cheap as long as you go to the same tuner.
