NEW YEARS RESOLUTION WEIGHT LOSS THREAD

This is it.......
time for New Years Resolutions.....
Weight loss is always a big one.

I, for one, am making the commitment and I thought
I'd look to the C5 community for others who are
making the same resolution.

I've asked Bonnie and hrpii to be mentors
to those of us that want to lose weight and get in shape.....
Who wouldn't want to look like those two? :happyanim:

So let's keep track of our goals, and help each other
with support and ideas to make this a sucess.

I'll start.....
My goal is to lose 25 lbs and I plan to
do the Atkins Diet. It worked for me for years...
and then .

I know I can do it
I know I'll get the support I need
from my friends here :w00t:

So post it up.....
Let's see how much we can collectively lose!

Heh. I should probably drop a few pounds.

We'll see. College food isn't very conducive for that.

Very cool Becky, I know we've ALL gained a few pounds over the holidays and getting support and motivation from all my C5 buddys has always giving me oodles of motivation and I'm very excited to start a new year and focusing on my competition goals again! So lets all support each other and have a blast.

Progress pics from everyone needs to be a big part of this!!!! :happyanim: Happy New year eveeryone!!!!! :happyanim:

Ok Becky, I'm on board with you. I have been working on it, lost 15 lbs before the holidays, slipped a bit and gained 5 back so now that the holiday goodies are all GONE I'm ready to get back on track.
My goal is to look as good as my Camaro makes me feel :)

rtcat600man 12-31-2010 10:39 AM

Great idea.....count me in.

My whole family is going on the program starting Monday. My daughter plays softball and wants to drop a few pounds to be quicker. My son is a swimmer and wants to drop a few pounds to become quicker. Gosh knows I need to drop an entire person. So begins a new chapter in our house. Eating better, working out together as a family and becoming healthier.

GTAHVIT 12-31-2010 10:39 AM

I'm in...

I'm gonna get a bit ambitious and shoot for 25 pounds by the Fest.

I'm not sure how that is gonna play out as I'm gonna try to bulk up with some muscle mass as well. Maybe HPRII can keep me on track there.

No more fast food, sodas, fried food. More lean protien and healthy snacks. I need to get my metabolism fired up.

and most of all.... Stop eating before bed!!!!

I'm perfect. I don't need any work.

11BEE 12-31-2010 10:44 AM

I am in, and this is a great idea. I found out that I am a diabetic last month and need to loose some weight. I pledge to loose 40 pounds by June 3rd. This is the week we go to the beach for our annual trip, and I am heading to Rio De Janeiro at the end of June for a family wedding.

JoeP@TeamBeckyD 12-31-2010 10:53 AM

Look for names in the 2nd post..
I'll catch it up later, and add as needed..
then continue with updates....
Becky
