Main Rally Point: Stop N Shop - 199 Connell Highway, Newport, RI 02840

Arrive at the rally point between 8:30-9am. We leave the rally point around 9:15am time for some group photos.

FORT ADAMS IN THE FALL CAR SHOW 2018

It's time to get this planned and hopefully the weather will be with us this year. Those of us who've attended in the past know the location is awesome and one of the most picturesque settings for a car show. It looks like the Camaros are being parked again inside the fort. We are Class NN when it comes to registration. If you get tired of looking at over 400 cars, then you can take a tour of the fort and even the underground tunnels if you're brave enough.

The flyer says there's a club trophy, if there is, then on your entry form, make sure you write "New England Camaros".

See Post #2 for CT meeting point. We will pick up you strays like we've done in the past along our usual route.

I'll rally the CT crew and meet those coming from other rally points at our new rally point Stop n Shop. Our CT rally point will be our usual spot the commuter parking lot in Norwichtown. Map and timing noted below:

OK all you guys going to this awesome show...here's the plan and timing:

We need to meet the others at the Stop n Shop between 8:30-9am so we can leave by 9:15am, from the rally point in Norwich it is 1 hour 20 min to get there. So lets all be at the Norwich Rally point by 7:00-7:15am. There is a place to fuel up right across the street and grab coffee too.

REMINDER - Bring your EZ-Pass if you have them, your walkies set to channel 5.0 and chairs.

Idk if the lot will be accessible, it closed a couple of weeks ago

I don't know the area like you guys. Is there another place in the area that could work?

I see a Stop n Shop plaza nearby, thoughts.

Micky dees and dunkin just east of the exit?
Astro deer (what i call starbucks at work) just a little further as well as mobil gas just over abt 1/2 mile away.

There's a commuter lot right off that exit as well.

the Stop & Shop is just on the other side of bridge from Newport Casino .When you come over the bridge and get off the ramp just go under the bridge and it is on the right .

Not tobe anal, but, which lot is closed? Slots or the commuter lot in norwich?

Sorry, but when a post is talking about 2 lots and someone says its closed, I get very confused.

Here I was thinking norwich lot.

The Slots lot in Newport may be closed as they closed a couple of weeks ago.

I called the Newport PD to ask about the parking lot, I got a resounding "I don't think there is any access to the lot".

So let's all meet at the Stop n Shop lot then. Probably access to restrooms nearby too for anyone needing them after the ride in.

Stop n Shop address has been listed on first post for everyone.
