I have the Gorilla locks with the free spinning collar on them. My brother-in-law used to work at a tire shop and showed me how easily the non-collared locks could be removed with just a large socket and a hammer. At least the collared locks will just sit there and spin if someone tried that trick on them.

Doesn't take too long to do. The dumb-a$$ that I bought my '55 Chevy from in high school lost one of the 4 keys for the wheel locks on the car. He had put a different set on each wheel. Took about 2 minutes to get the five locks off the wheel that used the missing key. The tire shop used a hard plastic weighted mallet to pound on the socket and it was surprisingly quieter than I thought it would be.

Either way, wheel locks are just an added deterrent and will hopefully just convince a thief to move on to an easier target. If they want your wheels bad enough, they'll get them, with or without wheel locks.
