1/4 mph question

ok so I got to looking at my track times and one slip I ran a 14.2 at 99mph and another slip said 15.5 at 98mph. How is that right? The track I went to does not factor in reaction times.

MPH@ 1/4 is taken at the finish line with speed trap beams. Nothing uncommon here.

Compare your time tickets, should see the car didnt run the same over the course of the run. Bad 60' etc??

Without seeing your 60' times, I would hazard to guess you spun a lot more on the launch of the 15.5s slip. The speeds are similar because once you got traction, the track wasn't much shorter than the time you got traction right away. So you sped up to almost the same speed.

For the record, your ET (Elapsed Time) never counts RT (Reaction Time). RT only matters in head-to-racing, not when seeing how fast your car is (ET).
